Day 1
Arrival Guwahati
Arrive at Guwahati by mid day and check into our hotel. Collect your bike and familiarize yourself with it. In the evening, gather for a briefing and introductory session. Early dinner and sleep for an early departure next day. Overnight stay at Guwahati
Day 2
Guwahati - Nameri
After breakfast, we ride to Nameri National Park, at the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas. Majority of the ride is over paved, four lane highway passing through Assamese countryside. Ride through undulating tea plantations and past rice paddy fields. In the afternoon go rafting on the serene waters of the Jia Bhorali river. Overnight stay at Nameri Eco Camp.
Day 3
Nameri - Dirang
A half hour ride from Nameri gets us to Bhalukpong, the entry point into West Arunachal. Finish entry permit formalities and begin ascending. The road gently starts winding up as we follow the Kameng river, through thick sub- tropical forests. The area is under heavy army control and we shall pass many army camps and regiments. Overnight stay at Dirang
Day 4
Dirang - Tawang
Commence the most scenic drive of your trip early in the morning. The road keeps climbing up all the way till Sela pass, offering some grand panoramas of the region. Take a brief halt at the 14,000 foot Sela pass, admiring the beautiful lake and its surroundings. On the way stop at Jung waterfalls. Overnight stay at Tawang
Day 5
Tawang Sightseeing
In the morning visit the world’s largest Buddisht monastery . For those who like to walk we can do a 1 hour hike to the Nunnery attached to the Tawang monastery. In the second half visit the War Memorial . Overnight stay at Tawang
Day 6
Tawang - Zemithang
The higher reaches of Tawang are dotted with many glacial lakes, some of which we will visit today. Drive to P.T.Tso lake and Sangetsar lake, form where we drive further to T Gompa. From here we take a little know road to reach the scenic valley of Zemithang, on the tri junction of Arunachal, Bhutan and China. Overnight stay will be in Zemithang home stays.
Day 7
Zemithang Sightseeing
Zemithang valley is the home of Monpa tribe who are Buddhists . The valley is dotted with a number of Monpa villages with traditional houses. We will go for a walk to some of the villages and further for a trek in the forest. Overnight stay in the tents.
Day 8
Zemithang - Dirang
After breakfast ride back to Dirang, via Sela Pass . Overnight stay at Dirang.
Day 9
Dirang - Nameri
Continue our descent down to the plains of Assam. Unwind and relax at our serene camp, besides the Jia Bhorali river. Overnight stay at Nameri Eco camp.
Day 10
Nameri - Guwahati - Departure
We ride to our bike drop off point and then drop to the airport.
