Day 1

Arrival

We will pick you up from Bagdogra airport/NJP railway station and drive you to the beautiful hill station of Gangtok. Once you reach Gangtok, you’ll check into the lovely Samayaa Hotel (or someplace similar). We suggest you to spend the evening strolling in MG Marg, the town’s main shopping area, brimming with souvenir shops, cafes, multi cuisine restaurants etc.

Day 2

Excursion trip to Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir, and Nathula Pass

After breakfast you can prepare for your excursion tour to Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir, and Nathu La Pass. Pick up the bike from the pick up point. Tsomgo Lake is an oval-shaped lake spanning 1 km long and is 15 m deep. It is considered sacred by the local people. Baba Mandir, a shrine dedicated to “Baba” Harbhajan Singh, a soldier of the Indian Army who died near Nathu La Pass. While returning back you can visit Hanuman Tok and Ganesh Tok. Overnight stay in Gangtok. Note: Permits are subjected to availability and weather condition. Monday Nathu La remains closed but you can visit Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir.

Day 3

Gangtok – Namchi – Pelling

We suggest you head out to South Sikkim today straight after breakfast. On the way to Namchi lies Temi Tea Garden. This is a great tourist spot, where one can stroll inside the tea gardens, taste different organic teas, and opt for adventure activities such as cycling and zip lining. On your arrival in Namchi, you can check into a hotel and then head out for a tour of Char Dharm, Samdruptse, and Tarey Bhir. Samdruptse Temple houses a huge statue of Guru Padmasambhava and Char Dham the four most revered dhams of the Hindus. Next, you will head to Tarey Bhir, which is a 3 km long stone ridge on which pedestrian footsteps have been built to climb the steep ridge. Bhir means 'cliff' in the Nepalese language. The height of the ridge is about 10,000 feet and has a drop down gorge of over 3500 feet on the right side. It is the only place from where Kalimpong, Darjeeling, and Teesta River can be seen at once. Another important and must-see place is Buddha Park (Ravangla). This park features a 130-foot high statue of the Buddha as its centerpiece and is surrounded by lush gardens and ample walkways for visitors. Overnight stay in Pelling.

Day 4

Pelling local sightseeing points

You can ride to a number of places today as Pelling has many points of interest. Some of these include Sanga Choeling Monastery (visit sky walk), Rabdentse Ruins, Pemayangtse Monastery, Khecheopalri Lake, and Singshore Bridge.

Day 5

Pelling to Gangtok

In the morning head back to Gangtok. On arrival at Gangtok, check into your hotel and spend the evening at leisure. Return your bike to us.

Departure

We’ll drive you to Bagdogra airport/N.J.P. railway station soon after breakfast. We hope you take back happy memories and await your return for another exciting trip with us.
