Assam is known for its wildlife (who hasn’t heard of Kaziranga National Park), tea gardens, and archaeological sites. Its temples, silks, and other indigenous crafts are equally popular.

Meghalaya means the “Abode of the Clouds” and you will see some magnificent cloud formations. It has many dreamy destinations that will excite you to explore with your partner.

Itinerary Itinerary

Guwahati- Kaziranga

Arrive at Guwahati airport and transfer to Kaziranga (250 km / 5 hrs drives approx). Check-in on arrival.
Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Kaziranga – Shillong

After breakfast enjoy a jeep safari with your partner inside Kaziranga National Park. Get to see the best attraction of the park, the Indian one-horned rhino.
After the safari, head back to the hotel, check out, and drive to Shillong in Meghalaya (290 km/7-hr drive approx).
Check-in at the hotel in Shillong. We can arrange for a candlelight dinner on request.
Overnight stay in Shillong.

Shillong - Cherrapunjee

You will be traveling to Cherrapunjee – the wettest place on the earth for a bit of adventure.

In Cherrapunjee you will visit Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sisters Falls, and Nohkalikai Falls.

After lunch, visit Thankarang Park and Koh Ramhah (a rock shaped like an upside-down basket).

Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.

Cherrapunjee – Mawlynnong – Shillong

After breakfast, you will go on an excursion to Mawlynnong (100 km/3 hrs drive approx).
Mawlynnong village is dubbed the cleanest village in India by Discover India Magazine. You get an excellent view of the faraway plains of Bangladesh. A day in this village will give you an insight into the life of the Khasis
En route, visit Elephant Falls.
Drive back to Shillong for an overnight stay.
Note: It is advisable to carry packed lunch to Mawlynnong.

Shillong – Guwahati (departure)

After breakfast drive to Guwahati airport (140 km/4 hrs drive approx).
Return home with happy memories and a desire to return for more adventures.
