Arrival at Guwahati

  • Arrival at Guwahati and transfer to Hotel. 
  • Visit to NABAGRAHA TEMPLE Temple & Handloom and Handicraft centre at Ambari.
  • Evening  go on a sunset cruise on Brahmaputra River or spends leisure time at Digli Pukhri
  • Overnight stay at hotel Guwahati
Guwahati – Tezpur

  • Drive to Tezpur 
  • En route stop at Stone inscriptions at Bhomoraguri, these stone inscriptions date back to 1600 and describe the victory of Ahom Kings over the Mughals. On to Bamuni Hills the ruins are date back to the ninth and tenth century A.D.
  • Agnigrah - site of romance of princess Usha (the only daughter of king Bana) and Anirudha, grandson of lord Krishna. Usha was kept on this hillock which was surrounded by fire, hence the name of Agnigarh.
Visit to Orang National Park

  • Orang National Park - It has a rich flora and fauna, including great Indian rhinoceros, pygmy hog, Asian elephant, wild water buffalo and Bengal tiger. It is the only stronghold of rhinoceros on the north bank of the Brahmaputra River.
  • Da Parbatia - The excavated foundation of the temple of the Gupta period revealed the base of the garbhagriha (sanctum sanctorum) in a roughly square form
  • Overnight at Tezpur
Tezpur - Guwahati

  • Chitralekha Udhyan - Established by a British Deputy Commissioner, Mr. Cole in 1906, the park has two massive ornamented stone pillars, and other sculptural remnants.
  • Mahabhairab Temple - This temple is believed to have been established by king Bana with a Siva lingam. Formerly, this temple was built of stone but the present one is built of concrete.
  • Nine lines Inscription of Harjjar Varma located on the bank of river Brahmaputra the famous nine line inscription of Harjjar Varma (approximately – 815 – 834 AD)
  • Transfer to Guwahati
  • Overnight at Guwahati
Departure

  • Transfer to Guwahati and drop to Airport or Railway station for onward journey.
