Arrival at Dibrugarh

  • Arrival Dibrugarh and transfer to Sibsagar
  • Overnight at Sibsagar.
Panidihing Wildlife Sanctuary 

  • Morning a trip to Panidihang Wildlife Sanctuary which is located between the Disang & Demeow Rivers the wetlands is host to a number of water birds with aAround 267 species of birds are found in the sanctuary including 70 species of migrating birds.
  • Overnight at Sibsagar.
Sibsagar Sightseeing

  • Old dikhow bridge on dikhow river, which was built by the British. What is unique about this bridge is that a section of the bridge can be lifted to let the Ships pass through. Its used by pedestrians and other two-wheelers.
  • Tai Museum - This particular museum was constructed to keep the 600 yrs of Ahom glory intact by showcasing the various antiques collection for the general public.
  • Talatal Ghar - is located in Rangpur, 4 km from present-day Sivasagar. It is one of the grandest examples of Tai Ahom architecture. The Talatal Ghar is also the largest of all Tai Ahom monuments.
  • Rang Ghar - is a two-storied building which once served as the royal sports-pavilion where Ahom kings and nobles were spectators at games like buffalo fights and other sports at Rupahi Pathar, particularly during the Rongali Bihu festival.
  • Fakua Dol - Rudra Singha built the Fakuwa Dol, a pyramid-shaped temple constructed before the Rangnath (Shiva) Temple on the banks of the Joysagar Tank as a memorial to his mother. 
  • iva dol is a group of structures comprising three Hindu temples of Sivadol, Vishnudol and Devidol shrines, and a museum. These are located on the banks of the Sivasagar tank.

Sibsagar  - Dibrugarh 

  • Drive to Dibrugarh.
  • Maijan beel - Several beels dry up during the winter but the larger ones are perennial containing vast pools of swampy water forming the perfect habitat for birds of different varieties.

Departure

  • Drop to Dibrugarh airport for onward journey.
