Samdrup Jongkhar lies in the south-eastern part of Bhutan and holds the distinction of being the oldest town in Bhutan. This border town is a bustling little settlement with hawkers coming from the neighbouring India and Assam.
Tsa Sum Cha Ber Ling is a huge rock with a mural of Buddha and Guru Padmasambhava on it. It is located 30 km from the Dzongkhag administration.
