This beautiful nature park offers one of the best views of Mt. Khangchendzonga and River Teesta. On a clear day, the snow-clad mountains of West Sikkim are also visible from this hill. At the summit of this hill, there is a park built for recreation purposes and features exotic flowers. The park is a popular picnic spot for tourists as well as locals.
One of the two hills between which the town of Kalimpong stands. Kalimpong is situated on a ridge connecting the two hills, Durpin and Delo. The hill is 1,704 metres (5,590 feet) above msl and is the highest point of Kalimpong town. The hill is located northeast of the town. From this vantage viewpoint located at Delo the town of Kalimpong, the surrounding villages of Relli valley, Teesta River and its valleys all can be viewed. On a Clear day the Snow peaks of the Singlalila range with the 3rd highest mountain in the world Mt. Khangchendzonga are also visible.

Started in the year 2008 The Kalimpong Science Center aims to make the understanding of science and technology to the common people in a fun way. The center is located a kilometer away from the Delo Park in an area of 7 acres. Kalimpong Science Center is the first kind in the hills of Darjeeling District offers umpteen learning opportunities through fun and enjoyment of all age groups. There are dedicated area for indoor activity & outdoor activity and exhibits with a small Planetarium, digital galleries and corridor.

A small park with Statue Buddha it’s an ideal stopover on ones way to Delo or back from there. It’s a large statue of Lord Buddha, standing tall and magnificent. The whole ambience of the place is very nice and soothing. It’s calming and a good retreat for a walk and introspection. The golden statue of Lord Buddha, awe-inspiring and pristine with the cool soothing winds from the valley that creates an atmosphere of peace and serenity.

Delo being the highest point of Kalimpong Town offer an opportunity for Par Gliding. There are two types of tandem flights available the medium which lasts for approx 15 minutes and the high flight which would last for approx 30 minutes. Both the flights take off from the same point at Delo while the landing grounds are different. For Medium flight, the landing point is at Homes Garden near the school Dr Graham's Home, while for High flight the landing point is at Relli River ground further down.
