Arrival Phuentsholing

We will pick you up from Guwahati airport/railway station and drive you to Phuentsholing. After you reach Phuentsholing you will check in to hotel Namgyal. Day 2

Phuentsholing - Thimphu

After having your breakfast we will make your permits ready and we will take you towards Thimpu, the capital town of Bhutan and the centre of government, religion and commerce. It is a unique city with unusual mixture of modern development alongside ancient traditions. After you will reach Thimpu you can explore Thimphu to appreciate the Buddhist culture, Ethnic architecture of the Dzong and palaces, Traditional and the lifestyle of the Drukpas in this peaceful Himalayan Kingdom and overnight at Thimphu. Day 3

Thimphu Sightseeing - Paro

After having breakfast we will take you to visit Memorial Chorten which was built in 1974 to honor memory of Late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuk, popularly known as the Father of Modern Bhutan. And you will also visit Chang Gankha Monastery (one of the oldest monastery in the valley). You will also be visiting National Zoo where you can see Takin, the National wild animal of Bhutan and drive up to view point and take a hike beyond to see the clear picture of Thimphu Valley and you can also visit National Library (collection of holly scripts). After that we will take you for a visit to Kuensel Phodrang which is the world’s largest sitting Buddha statue; the statue is 167 feet high. The statue is situated on top of a hill overlooking the city of Thimpu, It can be accessed by road and is about 15 minutes away from the city's center. The word Kuensel means everything is clear, and from this place you can enjoy a great view of the Thimphu Valley on both sides. If you are interested in the arts and crafts you can also visit the school where you can see young children at work (also known as the painting school), we will also take you for a visit to traditional medicine Institute and you will be surprised to see that the ancient healing arts are still practiced in that institute. Later we will take you to observe traditional paper making from Daphnia and Edgeworthia shrub to the finished product and you can also purchase some beautiful writing sets from the factory. We will also take you through the downtown Thimphu on foot visiting handicrafts emporium and other arts & crafts stores. You can also buy stunning kiras which can be used as bed covers or wall decoration, jewelleries and many more. And after these we will drive you towards Paro. Day 4

Paro Sightseeing

After breakfast you will visit to Ta Dzong which is a circular fortress that once protected the valley from the Tibetan invasion. It is now National Museum with an excellent collection of Bhutanese antiquities. Then will take you for a short drive to the Paro Rinpung Dzong which was built and consecrated in 1646 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. This Dzong is also the administrative seat of district of Paro and it also contains a state monastic community of about 200 members. In the afternoon we will drive you up to visit Drugyel Dzong which is located upstream to the end of the paved road. And on the way back from Drugyel Dzong we will take you to visit `Tigers Nest `base camp & kichu monastery. Your evening will ends with a walk through the Paro`s main shopping district. The local shops sell a verity of goods- groceries, textiles as well as prayer flags which you can take back home as memory. Paro – Guwahati – Kaziranga

After breakfast we will drive you to Paro airport for onward journey towards Guwahati (Assam). Once you reach Guwahati Assam it will be late evening so we will drive you towards kaziranga where you will check in to hotel. Your evening time will be in leisure. Kaziranga

Early morning after you wake up we will take you for safari on Elephant back. After you finish your elephant safari you will have your breakfast. Later we will take you for a Jeep safari inside Kaziranga National Park (central/western Range). And after lunch we will take you for a visit to Orchid museum. Your evening time will be in leisure.
