Day 2
Shillong – Cherrapunjee
Post breakfast you will head to Cherrapunjee. En route, you will cover places like Dympep View Point, which offers a splendid view of the nearby valleys that are untouched by commercialization. Later, you will visit two shimmering waterfalls, namely Wah Kaba Falls and Nohkalikai Falls, followed by Arwah Caves before you retire for the day. Cherrapunjee - Nongriat
After breakfast, you will drive to Tyrna Village (15 km) and then cover the rest of the journey on foot to Nongriat where the Double Decker Living Root bridge is. Cherrapunjee - Shillong
Post breakfast you will head to Mawphlang Village where a trekking expedition awaits. You will trek the David Scott Trail from Mawphlang to Ladmawphlang. Passing through the Eastern Khasi Hills, this trek spans a distance of 16 km, winding through mountains, valleys, forests, and rivers. The trail begins at Ka Kor Ka Shonmai and passes through a quaint Khasi village called Laitsohma. A cab will pick you up from Ladmawphlang to take you to Shillong. Shillong Sightseeing
After breakfast, start your excursion with a visit to Elephant Falls. The waterfall got its name from a rock at its bottom that appears like an elephant. Three separate cascades down from these wonderful waterfalls enveloped in lush greenery that the surrounding area features. Shillong - Guwahati
