After arriving at Bagdogra airport/NJP railway station, you will drive towards Darjeeling. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 2

SIGHTSEEING IN DARJEELING

Get up early and then leave for Tiger Hill. Get ready to experience a sunrise like never before. Tiger Hill is considered the best place to enjoy a sunrise in Darjeeling. On your way back, visit Ghoom Monastery. Built back in the year 1875, Ghoom Monastery holds immense importance as it is dedicated to Maiterya Buddha who is believed to be ‘the Buddha to come’. The monastery preserves some rare handwritten Buddhist manuscripts. You can also visit Batasia Loop where the toy train passes in a loop-like pattern. You get to enjoy a 360 degree view of Darjeeling’s picture-perfect landscape. After exploring all these places early morning, enjoy a hearty breakfast and visit other attractions of Darjeeling such as: Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (please note that it is closed on Thursday) P N Zoological Park Tenzing rock Tibetan Refugee Self-help Centre Get on the ropeway, also known as Rangeet valley passenger cable car, which offers a spectacular view of the valley bedded with lush green tea gardens, dense forest, and small gushing streams (optional). Explore the traditional Japanese architectural style Japanese temple, which one of the major Buddhist pilgrimage sites in Darjeeling, inaugurated in the year 1972. In the evening, feel free to go for a walk around the local market area for shopping. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

SIGHTSEEING - Darjeeling to Mirik

After breakfast proceed to Mirik and later visit Pashupatinath (Nepal Border Town) Evening drive Back to Darjeeling Evening Leisure Overnight at Darjeeling
