Day 1

Arrival – Gangtok

We will pick you up from Bagdogra airport/NJP railway station and drive you to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. The drive on NH 10 is picturesque, with the emerald green Teesta River flowing alongside the entire journey. Once you check into your hotel (it’s right next to MG Marg), drop your bags and enjoy strolling in the vehicle-free zone of MG market.

Day 2

Gangtok Sightseeing Tour

Make sure you don’t skip your breakfast as you’ll be exploring the wonderful city of Gangtok today, and there are a lot of things to see. Depending on the best time to be at particular places (catching the sunrise or sunset, crowd, etc), you will be driven to various tourist spots accordingly. Your day tour will include visiting the famous Banjhakri and Bakthang waterfalls. Both of these falls have their own unique, mesmerizing features. This is your chance to wear the traditional dress of Sikkim, provided at the stall there, and get your picture clicked. You will also be visiting Do Drul Chorten (stupa) & Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, two important religious places that are a must-visit. The Namgyal Institute of Tibetology holds one of the largest collections of Tibetan works in the world outside Tibet. To get a thrilling view of Gangtok city and the surrounding mountains, you will be taken for a ride on the Ropeway and also to Tashi View Point. End your day snacking on some authentic cuisine at the many local restaurants in MG Marg.

Day 3

Excursion Trip to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir

It’s time to make the upward climb from Gangtok to higher altitudes to view the natural wonders of the Himalayas today. The first stop in today's tour is the oval-shaped Tsomgo Lake (3000 m), spanning 1 km long and 15 m deep. It is considered sacred by the local people. Walk around it or take the ropeway, the view from any angle is mesmerizing. After you’ve had a fill of the beauty, you will be taken to Baba Mandir, a shrine dedicated to “Baba” Harbhajan Singh, a soldier of the Indian Army who died near Nathula Pass. Depending on the weather conditions and availability of permits, your tour will include a visit to Nathu La Pass or you will make your way back to Gangtok. Spend your last day taking in the sounds and sights of Gangtok before you leave the next morning for a wonderful tour of Namchi.

Day 4

Travel to Namchi

Today, you will be departing from Gangtok and driven to Namchi via Ravangla, where you will be visiting Tathagata Tsal (Buddha Park) in Ravangla, Ralang Monastery, and another key monastery in Tibetan Buddhism in South Sikkim. Your journey, however, will be speckled with exciting stopovers such as Temi Tea Garden, the only tea estate in the state of Sikkim. You will retire for the night at a hotel in Namch

Day 5

Namchi Sightseeing Tour

Namchi is a hotspot for pilgrims as it’s dotted with many monasteries. The structures are really spectacular. Your sightseeing tour will include Samdruptse Hill, Siddeshwar Sai Mandir, and Char Dham. Samdruptse Temple houses a huge statue of Guru Padmasambhava, which is a true man-made wonder. Sai Mandir, a shimmering golden beauty houses a marble statue of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba and paintings of Lord Vishnu. The four most revered dhams of the Hindus have been replicated in the Char Dham complex to benefit devotees and tourists. You will spend the night in Namchi.
