Itinerary Itinerary


Arrival Imphal

You will be greeted by our representative at the airport and transferred to your hotel.

You will then make your way to Khwairamband Bazar also known as Ema Keithel. This is one of the popular markets in Imphal and is operated by only women. You can buy beautiful handicrafts and handlooms that reflect the art and culture of Manipur. Once done with exploring and shopping, head back to the hotel.

Tour of Imphal

In the morning, after having breakfast, leave for a full-day sightseeing tour of Imphal. You will visit Kangla Fort; Manipur State Museum, which has a collection of ancient smoking pipes, archaeological discoveries, tribal ornaments, gold-plated human masks,s and more; and Manipur Zoological Garden.

On the way back stop at Poona Bazar for shopping. Once done with the sightseeing tour, head back to the hotel.

Imphal to Bishnupur Moirang

Post breakfast, head to Bishnupur, which is approx 29 km away from Imphal. En route you will visit Red Hill Memorial, Maibam Lotpa Ching, and Sadu Chiru falls. On arrival, you will be taken to the famous Vishnu Temple that was built in the year 1467 and is one of the oldest known brick temples in Manipur. The temple’s architecture is a fusion of Hindu and Chinese architectural styles.

Tour to Loktak

Today we take you to the famous Loktak Lake, which is the largest freshwater lake in Northeast India and also the only floating lake in the world. You can go on a boat ride and enjoy the floating phumids on the lake’s surface. Next, get close to wildlife with a visit to Keibul Lamjao National Park, which is located on the lake. You will get the opportunity to witness the endangered Sangai, the state animal of Manipur. After completing the sightseeing tour, head back to the hotel.

Departure 

Post breakfast, you will visit the Handicrafts Emporium and Museum. After visiting the museum, bid adieu to this amazing state as you drive to the airport.
