Itinerary Itinerary
Kathmandu Arrival - 1300m
Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu and meet, assist and transfer to the hotel by our representative. Welcome drinks on arrival and briefing of tour program by one of the representatives.
Kathmandu – Pokhara - 900m altitude
After Breakfast drive to Pokhara in Tourist Coach. It is around 6 hours drive from Kathmandu. Pokhara is a remarkable place of natural beauty, situated at an altitude of 900m from the sea level and 200km west of Kathmandu valley. The enchanting town has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks. The serenity of lakes and the magnificence of the Himalayas rising behind them create an ambiance of peace and magic. Check-in the hotel. Enjoy walking along the bank of Phewa Lake in the evening, admiring the stunning reflection of the Fish Tail Peak in the blue Phewa Lake's water.
Pokhara - Hiley – 1 and ½ hour’s drive and 4 hours walk
After breakfast, the guide escorts you and drive to Nayapool – 45km / 1 and ½ hour’s drive from Pokhara in private vehicle. Start trek to Hiley. After 15- minutes short walk along the bank of the Modi Khola, we reach Birethanti (1065m) a large village that has many shops & teahouses. From there, the trail continues through the village. The trail follows the north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola. From there, the trail climbs steadily up the side of the valley to Hiley at 1495m.
Hiley - Ghorepani - 6hours walk
Today’s journey begins after breakfast as usual. The journey from Hiley to Tikledhunga- 1525m is easy. Leaving Tikhedunga, we begin our journey with a steep climb to Ulleri. Ulleri is a large Magar village at 2070m. Then the trail continues to ascend more gently, through fine forests of oak & rhododendron towards Banthanti at 2250m. Then we make our trek towards Nangethanti at 2460m. After an hour walk brings you to Ghorepani at 2775m.Overnight at Guest House.
Ghorepani – Poonhill - Ghandruk - 7-8 hours walk
This morning, we will get up early in the morning, and go hiking to Poon Hill. From here you will see superb view of the sunrise, and panoramic view of Himalayas, including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Fishtail, and other places on Nepal. After visiting Poonhill, we will come back to Ghorepani, have a hot breakfast, and continue walking to Deurali and to Tadapani. Lunch at Tadapani. From Tadapani by walking straight down across the jungle we reach Ghandruk. Ghandruk is a very beautiful village with full of natural beauty. You can go Gurung Museum at Ghandruk and also it's fun to do a village walk at Ghandruk.
Ghandruk - Nayapool - Pokhara - 5&1/2 hours walk and 1&1/2 hours drive
We have to trek down and straight to Nayapool from Ghandruk. From Nayapool there is 1.5-hour drive to Pokhara. Check in hotel and rest for sometimes after a hot shower. Strolling around lakeside, hire a boat and visit Barahi Temple - a unique temple situated in the middle of Phewa Lake in the evening.
Pokhara – Kathmandu
After Breakfast fly or drive back to Kathmandu. Check in hotel. Rest of the day is free for rest and refreshment in the hotel. Evening take you own time for last minute shopping and scrolling around the touristic places.
Kathmandu Sightseeing and Departure
After Breakfast start full day sightseeing at UNESCO Heritage sites. Sightseeing at Boudhanath-World's biggest stupa, one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage where all devout Buddhists come for pilgrimage, Swayambhunath- A monkey temple from where you can see the magnificent views of Kathmandu Valley and tribute to Buddhism and Patan Durbar Square- a distinct place for arts and architecture that is reflected on each temple, monument and palace building that were mostly built during the Malla period between 16th, 17th & 18th century.
Approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight our representative will transfer you to the airport for final departure to your home country.
