Overview Overview

Location Overview:

East Sikkim is loved for the metropolitan nature of Gangtok city and the close proximity to one of Sikkim’s high altitude lakes (Tsomgo Lake) and Nathu La (Indo-China border), where it also snows. East Sikkim is the administrative hub of Sikkim and houses important monasteries, museums, religious sites and more.

Pelling is a calm town in West Sikkim steeped in history and religion. A wish-fulfilling lake, ruins of the former palace, and India’s first glass skywalk are located here.

Darjeeling is 120 km from Pelling and offers a delightful contrast to Sikkim. Colonial architecture and tea boutiques set the tempo of this popular hill station. Watching the sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzonga is a treasured experience here.
