1) Tawang:

An important travel destination of Arunachal Pradesh, Tawang boasts of being blessed with natural beauty in abundance. The city is home to the Monpa tribe. Pankang Teng Tso Lake is one of the most popular lakes in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh. The lake is surrounded with blue lapis flowers in summers and wrapped in a blanket of snow in the winters. The largest monastery of India and the second largest one in Asia, Tawang Monastery is another major attraction of the region.

2) Nemisai:

An Arunachal Pradesh foothill district, Nemisai was carved out of Lohit District. The Nemisai Monastery, situated in the heart of Nemisai, was the first prominent structure to be built here. The Golden Pagoda at Tengapani is also a sight to behold. The pagoda is built in the Thai/Burmese style and stands majestically amidst a picturesque landscaped garden.

3) Ziro Valley

Tucked in between the mountains and lush green valleys of Arunachal Pradesh, Ziro is an entrancing holiday destination that magnetizes travellers with its hypnotic natural charm; quaint villages, sprawling rice fields, and rolling green hills that are veiled under thick layers of vibrant flora add on to the beauty of this place. 8) Pasighat

Also known as the ‘gateway of Arunachal Pradesh,’ it is the home to the mighty Siang river and indigenous hanging bridges. Like many other places in Arunachal Pradesh, Pasighat offers thrilling activities to visitors such as river rafting, angling, and boating. 9) Sela Pass

Located 6,000 feet above sea level, this small hamlet is cuddled up in Mechuka Valley in West Siang District. This picturesque Valley is about 29 km from the Indo-Tibet border and around 500 km from the state capital Itanagar. Samten Yongcha Monastery, hanging bridges, and Siko Dido Falls are some of the best places to visit in Arunachal Pradesh.
