5 MUST-VISIT CAFES IN SHILLONG

(1) DYLAN’S CAFÉ

As the name suggests, Dylan’s Café is a tribute to the legendary Bob Dylan. Quirky décor, live gigs, and delectable café fare make it one of the iconic cafes loved by everyone visiting the city. We recommend hot chocolate.

 (2) CAFÉ SHILLONG 

If you’re looking for a peaceful place in the heart of the city to unwind with a cup of coffee, Café Shillong is the place to be. From café grub to local delicacies, the menu teases every palate. We heard that the Nasi Goreng is pretty good here.

(3) ROMA EATERY

This eatery & pizzeria has a relaxed and cosy atmosphere and serves a mix of Italian and Asian dishes. The service is great and it usually stays packed.

(4) THE GRUB

They describe themselves as a bistro tucked in a quiet place filled with "grubby" treats all catered for the simple joy of loving food. If this description isn’t enticing enough, we don’t know what is. Its spaghettis are a real treat to eat. You can also grab a book from its collection and plop yourself in the open seating area on the terrace for a quiet read.

Another delightful café to visit is Hashtag Café. From local (Khasi and Naga) cuisine to Italian and Chinese, you can eat your heart out with its pocket-friendly prices. Local artists also perform here from time to time.
