Komsing is a small beautiful and scenic village that is on the left of Siang River. From Komsing to Pangin it is only 60 kilometers which means a drive of one and a half hours approximately. Pangin is a small village on the bank of River Siang in the Siang District in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in India. Pangin is almost 60 kilometers away from Pasighat the nearest town from Pangin. Near the Pangin village there is a large cardamom nursery cum plantation where a large number of cardamom are grown and many people buy a large number of cardamom from this garden.
Since it is near the river it is easy to water the cardamom garden and many people from the village take care of this garden. One can reach Pangin by hiring a taxi from Pasighat or can take public transport services since it is easily accessible via road so it is easy to reach by road. One can also go for a trekking in Pangin village. If you ever plan to visit Komsing village in Arunachal Pradesh then October to April will be the best time to visit as the sky is clear and the weather is pleasant. The cardamom was cultivated in a very large amount in Arunachal Pradesh according to an official published in the year 2014 and over 16,770 hectares and at a rate of almost 180 per kg. The highest producer of cardamom is in Anjaw district in lower Subansiri.
