Pangin is a small village located at the Pangin Mandal in the East Siang District in Arunachal Pradesh and the small village Pangin is located at a distance of 60 kilometers which is almost 40 minutes drive from Pasighat. The nearest airport to reach Pangin is located at a distance of approximately 20 kilometers away but most of the airports are not much operational and it depends upon the weather condition. The easiest way to reach Pangin is via road. Once you reach Guwahati you can take a cab, from Guwahati it is approximately 12 to 14 hours drive which is approx 590 kilometers. One needs to stay overnight at least in one spot in between. One can reach Pangin from Guwahati by two different routes both the routes are of similar distance. The first route is Guwahati to Sivasagar and Pangin and the second route is Guwahati to Itanagar and Pangin. One can also go by train till Naharlagun and take a cab from Naharlagun railway station to reach Pangin in Arunachal Pradesh.
