The height of the Changay waterfall is almost 150 feet and the waterfalls looks stunning with crystal clear water and thick green forest. Many locals and the tourists visit this place and the Changay waterfall is a hidden treasure for nature lovers. While walking through the hills and the forests one can listen the chirps of Himalayan birds like Niltava, Indian Robin, Blue Fronted Redstart, White Capped Water Redstart, Verditer Flycatcher, Blue Whistling Thrush, Grey Treepie and many more the chirps of the birds makes the atmosphere heaven-like. While going towards the Changay waterfalls one can take a rest in between since there are some rest shed in between. It may be a little difficult for senior citizens, very young kids and the people with any kind of physical problem, although the pathway is good but the way to the Changay waterfall is slippery in between and the trail may be difficult for people of senior citizens and to reach the bottom of the hill. The road towards the village before reaching Changay waterfall is also in very bad condition which is still in under construction and it is advisable to take a private cab or hire a taxi since there is no any other mode of transportation available.
