Chibragre is a hamlet near Tura. It is 15 kms from Tura (Tura-Guwahati Road) and approx 21 kms from Sasatgre Village. It takes a short time to reach this destination from Tura and you can easily hire an auto rickshaw to cover the distance. One can also reach here by local bus from Tura.
Local people visit Chibrage for picnic and have some leisure time with family. Many youngsters can be seen chilling out in nearby area.

Two rivers – River Gangol and River Rongram meet here and proceed towards Rongram, Garobadha and Mancachar and later merge into Brahmaputra River. There is a beach in centre and on all three sides you have rivers flowing with exciting cascades. You can sit on the beach or over the stones with your feet in the water. A small depression in the area serves as a great spot for swimming. One can also take walk in nearby surrounding to feel calmness and serenity of location.
Besides the rivers and sound of water there are lush green mountains all around. This enhances the beauty of scenery. Chibragre is really beautiful and a great place to visit with family and friends. Locals also can be seen making food and enjoying at the beach during holidays. There is a view point too near beach.
As there are no food stalls in area, you should take something to eat. At the corner plastics are found which are thrown away by visitors. Please do not litter garbage in such areas as it ruin the beauty along with the ecology of surroundings.
Chibragre can be visited anytime of the year. However, try not to go near water and rocks in rainy season, as it can be dangerous due to water flow and slippery stones. In winters, sitting at the beach during sunny day can be a different experience.
