Assam is one of the least visited places in India despite being rich in culture and biodiversity. A day spent in nature is the best recreational activity one can indulge in Assam. Here are some of the best recreational places in Assam:

There is something about waterfalls that calms the mind and elevates positive feelings. It does for me atleast! The mesmerizing beauty of Kakochang Waterfall is an eye pleaser and must-see Assam natural wonder.

Nestled in the lap of nature 13 km away from Bokakhat in Jorhat, Assam, Kokochang Waterfall is a magnificent wonder of nature cascading down its way rather violently between rubber and coffee plantations. The waterfall lies close to Kaziranga National Park. It also provides the view of Numaligarh ruins and remains.
