The village Samsing is one of the beautiful village and a tourist spot in Matiali in a district of Jalpaiguri of West Bengal in the foothills between Jalpaiguri and Darjeeling districts border. The village is known for its beautiful landscape, the hills, forest and the sceneries of green tea garden. During the clear day one can see the snow-clad mountains of Bhutan. Samsing village is a home for around 4000 people and the climate in Samsing village is noted for fog and cool breezes and most of the time rainfall. There are many places to visit in and around Samsing village like Rocky Island, Lali Guras and Suntaley Khola, the Samsing village also has many tourist attraction places and a beautiful picnic spots where the locals love to visit.

In the forest of Neora Valley, even the sunlight finds it difficult to touch the ground because of the growth of the number of plants and trees. The Neora Valley National Park is one of the best places for the nature lovers and trekkers who can explore the still-unknown terrain in the hills of Kalimpong. There are still more places inside the Neora Valley National Park which are still inaccessible.
