Police Bazar is main market area of Shillong also known as PB locally. Some people also call it by Khyndailad Bazar. It is located at the centre of the city. Getting here is also easy as local transport is available anytime. It has some good restaurants for food lovers. Also one can have flavor of local street food too.

As Shillong is the only major city in Meghalaya, all famous Brands are available in and around Police Bazar. This market is always busy, hence, getting parking here is very difficult. There is always a crowd walking on the market streets.

Police Bazar also have a section of flea market which is suitable for pocket friendly people. This part draws attraction to many people because of the collection of traditional handicrafts, local dress, jewelry etc. The bazaar is a blend of traditional as well as modern, the chic as well as classic. The markets are well laid out in the form a huge circle (chowk) right in the middle of the police bazaar with plants and trees, surrounded by 7 roads going away from the circle to the different points in the city.
