The Suspension bridge is in the Sangti River at the village of Sangti near the Dirang town of Arunachal Pradesh a northeastern state in India. The Sangti valley is approximately 14 km away from the nearest town Dirang. The suspension bridge over the Sangti River of Sangti village is in the western part of Arunachal Pradesh. Though the suspension bridge is a very old and small bridge it is very important to bridge over Sangti River to reach Bishum village. The view from the suspension bridge over the Sangti River is stunning. This shot also shows the high mountains and forested slopes of this region. The photographers will love to spend a whole day taking the pictures and nature lovers will love to spend the day too. The place is blessed with pleasant weather throughout the year and during winter season one can view the wonderful view of snowfall on top of the mountains. The mountains around are also covered with fruit orchards (kiwi fruit, apple, apricot, orange), dotted with pristine forests and meandering fast hill rivers. And it is also home to the black-necked cranes that come to the fields of this valley every winter. One will really like to experience walking across the gently swing bridge and there are a number of the old wooden suspension bridges over the Sangto River in Sangti village. To reach Sangti Village from Dirang one needs to take a taxi from the nearest town Dirang and taxi are easily accessible since the roads are in good condition. The nearest airport to reach Dirang is Tezpur airport or Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport of Guwahati. Both the airports are in Assam and to reach Dirang town one needs to take a taxi from the airport. The distance from Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Guwahati is approximately 313 kilometers which is almost nine hours drive. The nearest railway station is Guwahati railway station. Dirang is easily accessible by road and most people prefer to travel by road through the roads are not very good in some places one will really enjoy the adventurous drive.
