In West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh in India there is a small town called Bhalukpung. The Bhalukpong town is located at 213m above sea level, 100 km from Bomdila, 52 km from Tezpur and 5 km from Tipi. It lies along the Kameng River and is the headquarters of the Bhalukpung circle. Arunachal Pradesh State Transport (APST) as well as private bus services are also available daily from Tezpur to Seijosa (except on Thursdays), Seppa and Itanagar. One can also hire a cab from Tezpur and Bhalukpong. The nearest airport to reach Bhalukpong is Tezpur airport which is 52 kilometers from Tezpur and the nearest railway station is Bhalukpong railway station which is a small railway station in West Kameng district, Arunachal Pradesh. From Bhalukpong one can easily reach the Lumum waterfall and the Lumum waterfall is just beside the road.
