Lhakhang Karpo, a 7th century temple is also known as the white temple. It is located in Dumchoe Village, 3 km south of Haa town. It is the main seat of Haa’s guardian deity Ap Chundu. Lhakhang Karpo, or the White Temple, in Usu Gewog, is believed to have originally been during the time of the Tibetan Emperor Songtsen Gampo. It is located near the main road less than a kilometre south of Wangchuck Lhodzong. This temple usually houses the monastic assembly of Haa.

This is a huge temple and beautiful that hosts the monk body. It hosts the yearly Tshechu and it is visited regularly by the locals. This temple has a lot of historical significance. It's a beautiful temple. During winter it is covered with snow. This temple is visible from far as it is located on a ridge. There is no entry fee here and tourists can spend quality time inside.
