Kiphire is an exotic location overlooking Saramati Mountain, the highest mountain peak of Nagaland. The mountain stays snow-clad throughout the winters, adding more beauty to the place.
Home to rich fauna like Slender, Loris, Panther, Himalayan bear, Jungle cat Barking deer etc. Fakim Wildlife Sanctuary with its hills, high ridges, deep gorges and narrow valleys the landscape in this place doesn't fail to surprise you. Not to be missed are a good variety of feather animal-like Great Hornbill, Tragopan, Jungle Fowl, and Doves, which can be discovered during the winter season, November to February.
Located in the Salomi village and is a perfect example of Nature's architectural excellence. It has a number of entry and exit points. The River Likimro also connects with the cave at one end.
