DAY 1:


  • After your arrival at Bagdogra/N.J.P. you will head to Okhrey through N.H. 10 with the torrents of Teesta River accompanying throughout the journey.
  • You will be spending your night at a home stay.
  • Evening leisure at Okhrey.
  • Spend the night at a home stay

DAY 2:


  • After having early morning breakfast, start for an exciting hike. 
  • You will be travelling to Barsey which is 4 km away from Hilley and its trail is one of the most beautiful in Sikkim. It passes through a dense forest of rhododendrons, bamboo groves and various fern mosses. The Hilley–Varsey trail is carpeted with different colors during March and April created by many species of rhododendrons blooming across the valley.
  • The hike is pretty simple and can be completed within 2 - 3 hours.
  • You will be spending the night at Barsey Guest house.

DAY 3:


  • In the morning after a sumptuous breakfast, get ready to hike back to Hilley.
  • You will have to drive through thick deciduous forest to Gangtok via Jorethang.
  • You can even stroll in MG Marg in the evening time. 
  • You will spend the night at the hotel, and if luck favors, you might just get  to see the night view of Mt. Khangchendzonga range

DAY 4:


  • Next morning after a sumptuous breakfast, get ready to explore Gangtok as much as you can. You will definitely enjoy the wonderful places you get to visit.
  • You can start your day by visiting the waterfalls in and around Gangtok. The Banjhakri and Bakthang waterfalls - both of these falls have their own unique features, and are natural and mesmerizing. You can also get to wear the traditional dresses if you want and click pictures.
  • If you are looking for a place to refresh and rejuvenate yourself, then you must visit Tashi View Point. The place offers you a pleasant ambience where you can enjoy the cool breeze and have a look at the beautiful scenery. The star attraction of the view point is the park at its top. The view point is one of the best places in to enjoy beautiful views of Gangtok and the Himalayas. 
  • Handloom & Handicrafts Centre is the only place where you can get to see and buy  wonderful craftwork, Hand-woven carpets, traditional Sikkimese dresses, Tibetan-style furniture and beautifully crafted toys are a few of the products made by the students enrolled here. 
  • Enchey Monastery and Do Drul Chorten(stupa)& Tibetology are two important religious places where you should visit. Each one of it has its own importance and in Tibetology you will get to see the museum where you will find a rare collection of statues, ritual objects, and traditional art objects. You can also visit the library where it holds one of the largest collections of Tibetan works in the world outside Tibet.
  • The flower show is held every year during late March and April, when alpine flowers are in bloom, it’s worth peeping inside this modestly sized covered garden, which has changing displays of potted flowers around a central pond.
  • After visiting all these places go for an evening stroll at M.G. Marg to mingle with the locals of Sikkim enjoy eating all the locals’ cuisines and return back.
  • You can spend the night at the hotel, and if luck favors, you might just get the night view of Mt. Khangchendzonga range.

DAY 5:

GANGTOK TO ZULUK (Via Tsomgo Lake and Nathu La Pass)

  • Tsomgo Lake and Nathula pass lies in the same route.  Both of these places are amazingly beautiful. Nathu La is a mountain pass in East Sikkim. It connects the Sikkim with China's Tibet Autonomous Region. The pass, at 4,310 mtrs. Forms a part of an offshoot for the ancient Silk Road.  But you need to have a permit to visit Nathula border. Tsomgu Lake is (3,000 mtrs.), 32 kms from Gangtok, an oval shaped lake long and 15 mtrs deep. This lake is very sacred for the local people. Try being a sport and enjoy this mesmerizing view from the ropeway. 
  • Boating in Hangu Lake is also possible which is few kilometers away from Tsomgo Lake.
  • You can visit Baba Mandir which is a distinguished sightseeing place of Sikkim. This “Mandir” or shrine is dedicated to “Baba” Harbhajan Singh, a soldier of the Indian Army who died near the Nathula Pass.
  • Zuluk, it was once a transit point to the historic Silk Route from Tibet to India, Zuluk was connected through Lhasa (Tibet) and India. It was commonly used by traders for traveling to Tibet through Jelep-La ("La" stands for mountain pass) as an overnight base.
  • You can spend a night at home stay where you can literally feel like home in Zuluk after a long journey. 

DAY 6:


  • Leave for Bagdogra/N.J.P. with the last glimpse of River Teesta that originates in the glaciers of Sikkim before disappearing in the Bengal plains.
  • Your trip concludes. Head back home with lots of pictures and awesome memories.
