EXPLORE EAST AND NORTH SIKKIM

Arrival

We will pick you up from Bagdogra airport/NJP railway station and drive you to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. The drive on NH 10 is picturesque, with the emerald green Teesta River flowing alongside for the entire journey.

Once you check into your hotel, drop your bags and enjoy strolling in the vehicle-free zone of MG market. 

Later you can return back to hotel for overnight stay. 

Gangtok Sightseeing

Make sure you don’t skip your breakfast as you’ll be exploring the wonderful city of Gangtok today, and there are a lot of things to see and capture for good memories.

Depending on the best time to be at particular places (catching the sunrise or sunset, crowd, etc), you will be driven to various tourist spots accordingly. Your day will include visiting the famous Banjhakri and Bakthang waterfalls. Both of these falls have their own unique, mesmerizing features. This is your chance to wear the traditional dress of Sikkim provided at the stall there and get your picture clicked.

You will also be visiting Do Drul Chorten (stupa) & Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, two important religious places that are a must visit. The Namgyal Institute of Tibetology holds one of the largest collections of Tibetan works in the world outside Tibet.

To get a thrilling view of Gangtok city and the surrounding mountains, you’ll be taken to Tashi View Point and also for a ride on the ropeway.  You will also visit Ganesh tok which is located near Tashi view point at a hill adjacent to the television tower of Sikkim; it offers spectacular views of the city and on a cloudless day even of the magnificent Khanchendzonga. Adorned with colorful prayer patakas(flags) hoisted and tied across the roads, the path to Ganesh tok almost resembles a rainbow. 

Later while coming down to Mg marg we will take you Whitehall flower show and then to Mg arg. You can stroll and have diner there and back to the hotel for overnight stay. 

Gangtok – Lachung

Next morning after breakfast we will drive you to Lachung and by evening you will reach there.

After you reach there you will check in to home stay and you can have dinner interacting with the host and overnight stay at the home stay.

Lachung – Gangtok

After breakfast get ready to explore Yumthang valley and Ziro point. Yumthang valley is popularly known as valley of flowers. The valley is just mesmerizing to see. And ziro point is another beautiful place to visit. When it is covered with snow it is just another amazing place. 

After you visit those two places you will return back to Gangtok.

Later when you reach Gangtok you will check in to hotel and evening time you can spend in leisure and overnight stay there. 

Gangtok –  Zuluk

After breakfast we will take you to Zuluk via Tsomgo Lake, Nathula pass and Baba mandir.

You will be mesmerized by the route in Zuluk. It is a hilltop and a transit point within the Silk Route. The road through Zuluk makes almost 32 hairpin turns to reach Lungthung, which makes it a unique engineering feat.

Later we will check in to home stay for overnight stay.

Zuluk Sightseeing – Namchi

Early morning we will take you to visit Thanbi View Point and Nag Tample and after Lunch we will drive you to Namchi.

After you reach Namchi you will check in to the hotel and in the evening you can stroll the market.

Later after dinner you can go back to hotel for overnight stay.

Departure 

We’ll drive you to Bagdogra airport/N.J.P. railway station soon after breakfast. We hope you take back happy memories and await your return for another exciting trip with us.
