The place which literally translates to “land of the white orchids”; serenity here is a given. The area is also full of beautiful tea gardens, and year-round vegetation on the hill slopes. You also get magnificent views of Mt. Kanchenjunga, Kabru and Jannu. And of course there is the world renowned Darjeeling Himalayan Railways that rejoices everyone with its presence.
