Daying Ering Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the famous places to visit in Pasighat. The Daying Ering Wildlife Sanctuary is approximately 13 kilometers away from Pasighat and it is spread over a cluster of river islands. The sanctuary is named after Dr. D. Ering. We can see many migratory birds from Siberia and Mongolia as the 25% of the Daying Ering Wildlife Sanctuary is covered with water bodies. The Daying Ering Wildlife Sanctuary is home for many species of birds. The Siang River also surrounds the Daying Ering Wildlife Sanctuary. The Daying Ering Wildlife Sanctuary is also a home to different species of plants, wild animals, trees and it is home to two of the great cats-the Tiger and the Leopard. Here you will find the endangered Takin, Hoolock Gibbon, Red Panda, Slow Lories and Capped Langur. To reach Daying Ering Wildlife Sanctuary from Pasighat one need to drive almost 60 minutes and need to cross the Siang River by a cruise. The nearest airport is Pasighat airport and the nearest railway station is Murkongselek Railway Station. The Murkongselek Railway Station is located at a distance of 30 Km from Pasighat. The nearest bus station is Sille/ Oyan. One can also drive from Guwahati to Pasighat by road.
