Sikkim’s adventurous landscape has brought many enthusiastic bikers from all over India to experience its thrilling roads. Be it summers or winters, sun or snow, different biking routes from Gangtok to other regions of Sikkim take you through picturesque terrain and interesting landmarks.
An avid biker, Sujay Kumar Dube from Kolkata took a thrilling 5-day tour of East and West Sikkim on a Royal Enfield Himalayan bike in November last year.

Day 1. Arrival
Day 2. Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir and back to Gangtok
On the road to Tsomgo Lake, 32 km from Gangtok
The oval-shaped Tsomgo Lake is located at a height of more than 12,000 ft. It is frozen during winters.
Route to Baba Mandir
The beautiful Hangu Lake where you can go on a boat ride. It’s on the way to Baba Mandir.
Day 3: Ride from Gangtok to Pelling
Visit Sidheshwar Dham in Namchi on the way to Pelling
Day 4: Explore Pelling
Places of interest: Rabdentse Ruins, Khecheopalri Lake, Singshore Bridge, Chenrezig Skywalk, and Rimbi Waterfalls.
Rabdentse Ruins, constituting the palace and monastery complex, was once the capital of Sikkim
The sacred Khecheopalri Lake is estimated to be 3,500 years old
Singshore Bridge, the highest in Sikkim and second highest in Asia
Day 5: Pelling to Gangtok
Visit Tathagata Tsal (Buddha Park) in Ravangla on the way back
