There is a place called Pilak which is at a distance of about 100 kilometers away from Agartala a capital city of Tripura in the northeastern part of India and Tripura is one of the seven sister states in the Northeastern region of India. Pilak is a famous place for its great 8th-12th century archaeological remains and this is an ancient site that represents the co-existence of both Hinduism and Buddhism religions. In the site there are numerous carvings in stone and terracotta plaques and the site of Pilak is located in the center of the ancient city of Avolokiteswara and Narasimhan in Tripura. Under the leadership of the courageous brave Indian Army Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the India Bangla Moitree Udyan was established. One can visit India Bangla Moitree Udyan throughout the year and the visiting time is from morning 9: AM to evening 5: AM except Tuesday India Bangla Moitree Udyan is open every day. To reach Agartala one can go by air, train, or by road all the modes of transportation is easily accessible. The nearest airport to reach Agartala is Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya airport of Agartala and the nearest railway station is Garjee. Agartala Railway station is also very near to the city and it is at a distance of a few kilometers to the south from the city center and also it is connected to a number of cities.
