1 Daying Ering Wildlife Sanctuary

The Daying Ering Wildlife Sanctuary in Arunachal Pradesh is one of the most popular wildlife parks in the state. This place in Arunachal Pradesh is spread over an area of 190 sq kilometers with alluvial grasslands form the major area of the sanctuary, constituting 15% of the wooded places; the rest of the place is water. To visit the sanctuary a cruise is taken through the Siang River which is the only way to reach the place. Unlike most of the sanctuaries of India, the high altitude places in northeastern India have a different variety of ecosystems. 5 Komsing

Komsing in Arunachal Pradesh is a village on the left bank of the Siang River. Komsing is one of the places in Arunachal Pradesh considered significant due to the history associated with it. This place in Arunachal Pradesh is considered important due to the murder of Noel Williamson in 1911. He was murdered when he was carrying the message of the death of King Edward VII to the tribal chief of that time in Arunachal Pradesh. A stone epitaph bearing the name of Noel Williamson still lies near the Siang with an inscription that reads – “On this spot were murdered Noal Williamson, Assistant Political Officer Sadiya, and 31st March 1911”. This is also one of the famous places for trekking and if you do not wish to go on an adventure, you can simply visit this place and witness a part of Indian history of Arunachal Pradesh.

6 Komlighat

Komlighat is another great picnic spot in Arunachal Pradesh by the bank of the river Siang. During earlier times, this used to be one of the places used as a river port.
