Singell Tea Estate is situated about 1,500 meters above sea level and is one of the oldest estates in the northwestern region of the beautiful Kurseong Valley in Darjeeling. It is a heaven for nature lovers. The entire village is surrounded by lush green tea garden. There is a homestay named Singell Homestay after crossing Tea factory and Manager’s guest house.

A superb view of nearby tea gardens, Balason River can be seen from balcony & rooftop of homestay. The homestay itself is located beside colorful flower garden. Each rooms has separate balcony to enjoy fascinating view of Singell Tea Estate. Far away Siliguri – Darjeeling Highway can be seen along with Toy Train track. The homestay guests are allowed to visit the Tea Estate Factory, take an internal tour and watch tea processing and plucking.

One can book cabs from Siliguri or Darjeeling to reach here. State Government buses are connected with Kurseong to Siliguri. Distance from Siliguri to Singell Tea Estate is around 45 Kms, through Siliguri – Rohini - Kurseong. The Tea Estate located just 2.5 Kms from Kurseong town.

Singell Tea Estate can be visited throughout the year. Best time to visit here is in the months March to May. It’s ideal for those who want to enjoy a bit away from the crowded area. You get a chance to mix with the wonderful family and understand the local Nepali culture.
