Kabu Village is a small picturesque village almost 4 kilometers away from the Aalo town in West Siang District of the Indian state in Arunachal Pradesh. It is a village with a very less population of almost 580 people and the Kabu village is the 8th most populous village of Arunachal Pradesh located on the bank of Syiom River. The Kabu village is mostly inhabited by Galo tribe. There are other villages in and around Aalo almost all the villages are inhabited by the Galo tribe and whenever you visit the village you will provide an insight into the culture of the people of Aalo in Arunachal Pradesh. Though the Kabu is easily accessible from Aalo town and one can reach the village easily but the village it is far removed from outside life. To enjoy and see the day to day life of local people one can stay for a day or two with the villagers. The locals are reserved and they do not interact much with outsiders, although talk with the village chieftain can help you interact and understand more about the local culture, art, performances and weaving techniques practiced here. The unique architectural forms of houses are worth observing. Whenever you are traveling to Arunachal Pradesh does not miss out the traditional cane and bamboo hanging bridge of Kabu Village in Aalo. The place is beautifully surrounded by hills and beautiful orange orchards; this is another exotic nature getaway in Arunachal Pradesh. The Kabu village looks more beautiful because of the 70-meter long bamboo and cane hanging bridge in Siyom River. The hanging bridges nearby give a great view. For sightseeing or nature walks, there are places like Ramakrishna Mission Campus, Patum Bridge, Bagra Village, Donyi Polo Temple, etc. The Kamki Hydropower Dam is 25 km from Aalo and a beautiful place to visit.
